Application Guide

Surface Preparation Steel or metal surfaces shall be dry, clean and free from oil, dust, mill scale and loose rust. Use the specified hand-tool, power-tool or blast-cleaning grade according to the coating system and service environment.
Application Environment Apply with application temperature 5-35 deg C; relative humidity <= 85%; substrate temperature at least 3 deg C above the dew point.
Application Method Apply by spray, brush. Recommended dry film thickness: 20-30microns/coat. Use compatible thinner/cleaner such as X-6 alkyd thinner or approved alkyd thinner where specified. Mix, thin and recoat according to site conditions and the coating system requirements.
