| Application Method | 1. Surface Preparation: The surface to be coated should be sandblasted or manually derusted to Sa2.5 or St3 grade. The previous coat must be completely dry. All oil stains and contaminants on the paint film must be removed. 2. Application Conditions: The substrate temperature must be at least 3℃ above the dew point. The relative humidity should not exceed 85%. Mix the two components in the specified ratio thoroughly. After stirring, let the mixture stand for 20-30 minutes, then stir again before use. 3. Coating Method: Thinner: Epoxy thinner (for both airless spraying and air spraying) Thinning amount: 0 - 15% (for both airless spraying and air spraying) Nozzle diameter: 0.4 - 0.5mm (airless spraying) 2.0 - 3.0mm (air spraying) Spraying pressure: 15 - 17Mpa (approx. 150 - 170Kg/cm², airless spraying) 0.3 - 0.6Mpa (approx. 3 - 6Kg/cm², air spraying) Cleaning agent: Fluorocarbon thinner 4. Recommended Number of Coating Passes Apply two spray coats, achieving a dry film thickness of 60 - 80µm. For general environments, use two primer coats and two or three topcoats. For special environments, additional coats may be applied as needed. 5. Coating Interval At 5℃: Minimum interval of 36 hours At 20℃: Minimum interval of 16 hours At 30℃: Minimum interval of 12 hours Maximum interval: No limitation 6. Compatible Products Epoxy zinc-rich primer, epoxy micaceous iron intermediate paint. |
