Application Guide

Application Method Water-based high-penetration primer: Spray/roll on one coat. Theoretical consumption: 5㎡/KG. Water-based polymer glazed enamel: Spray on two coats. Theoretical consumption: 3.5 - 4㎡/KG. 1. New Walls (Unpainted) Ensure that the wall is fully dry. Concrete and plastered walls should have sufficient curing time. Wall humidity: The humidity of brick and mortar walls should be below 10%. Alkalinity of cement walls: The pH value of concrete and cement mortar walls should be below 10. Use appropriate tools to remove mortar residues and protruding parts from the wall surface. For small grease stains, dirt, and dust, clean with a neutral cleaner or solvent, or wipe with a damp cloth to thoroughly remove all stains. For large cracks and depressions on the wall, repair with cement mortar. For small holes and cracks that cannot be filled with paint, use a special exterior wall waterproof putty for repairs (preferably repair locally). After using repair materials, ensure the wall is thoroughly dry and sanded smooth. 2. Old Walls (Unpainted) First, inspect the wall condition and treat surface defects using the methods mentioned above. Remove any floating dust accumulated on the wall. For mildew or moss on the wall, use high-pressure water to remove it, then clean with a 10% bleach solution, rinse with clean water, and dry. 3. Old Walls (Painted with Latex Paint) If the original coating is intact but has chalking due to erosion, remove the chalking layer using a high-pressure water gun and allow it to dry. If the old paint film is partially damaged, use appropriate tools to remove the damaged paint film up to the edge of the remaining intact portion and smooth the surface. If the old paint film is damaged and shows chalking, scrape it off, smooth the surface, and apply a sealing primer from Baotashan brand. If the old paint film has a textured surface and is firmly attached, it can be directly recoated; otherwise, use sandblasting for treatment.
